There are many common imperfections that appear in woodwork. These imperfections can be from natural causes like humidity or direct sunlight. Wood often is damaged by water (leaving watermarks), and we all know it can be burnt by fire. Cracks and chips can appear over time. Some imperfections, like fish-eyes and blushing are caused by sloppy or hurried production. With wood antiques, there is a fine line between what is considered to be character and what should be touched-up.
Adam has mastered the art of restoring wood and he can touch-up almost any flaw without taking away from the character of the piece. Adam is "the fountain of youth for woodwork" and has solutions for all of your wood refinishing needs. |
