Adam strips & sands all tables & chairs entirely by hand. That means that Adam personally goes over every single square inch of every piece to make sure that the wood is clean. Then he goes over it again & again with sandpaper until it is perfect. He even sands between every coat of sealer & laquer. Adam actually touches every part of the wood more than 8 times before it's finished so it's easy for him to guarantee that your piece is restored to the best possible condition that it can be in.
Adam can transform your old table & chairs into the most beautiful part of your Kitchen (second most beautiful part if he does the cabinets too). He can also glue squeaky chairs & tables and re-veneer if needed.
Adam has been finishing and refinishing wood by hand ever since he can remember. He learned how to restore wood to its original beauty from his father who spent 35 years refinishing wood and running Jerry's Refinishing. Adam strips and removes old paint and varnish, hand sands the wood until it is perfect, stains it, and finishes it with laquer and sealer. He also has numerous special techniques that he uses to give his work a distiguished look.
Adam has mastered the art of restoring wood and he can touch-up almost any flaw without taking away from the character of the piece. Many of Adam's clients cry tears of joy when they see how beautiful their antiques can be when you look under all of the paint that has been hiding their true beauty for years. Adam is "the fountain of youth for woodwork" and has solutions for all of your wood refinishing needs. |
