Pieces with intricate carvings and designs, or pieces finished with a poly or many layers of paint tend to be the most time consuming and difficult projects.

The first step that Adam does is removing the old finish. Then he sands it by hand (until it is like new). At this point he can fill any chips or imperfections in the wood. Adam can also re-veneer any surfaces that aren't repairable. He also re-glues any loose pieces (legs, spindles, etc.). Now Adam stains the piece to match any existing furniture you have or to the color of your choice. He can also add distressing and/or toner as needed to get the color and look that you want. Then he seals the piece and sprays on two to four coats of laquer to get the desired finish while sealer sanding between each coat of finish. Now you can enjoy 20 more years with your piece looking as good as it did on its first day.

Choose from a variety of stains or have your own stain created special to match anything. Adam shows his professionalism with toner and masterful touch-ups. Techniques like distressing can be used to give the wood a distinguished look. Sealer and laquer are sprayed on to finish the wood to the desired sheen.
