He learned how to restore wood to its original beauty from his father who spent 35 years refinishing wood and running Jerry's Refinishing. Adam strips and removes old paint and varnish, hand sands the wood until it is perfect, stains it, and finishes it with laquer and sealer. He also has numerous special techniques that he uses to give his work a distiguished look.
